Star Wars burlesque show (yes, even Jabba's in here)

Star Wars Girls_-40-1-thumb-550x367.jpg

Above, Stormtrooper striptease Courtney Cruz in a Star Wars-themed burlesque show at the Los Angeles club Bordello (a sexy bar which opened at the site of a notorious, historic LA whorehouse). Liz Ohanesian has a post up at LA Weekly with more about the performance. Lots of great photos by Shannon Cottrell, who shot the image above. I did not post Sexy Jabba the Hutt, and you can thank me for it later. (thanks, Isaac B2)

The closest thing we'll have to a "furry strip show" link on BB? Let's hope so.

Just me, or does the corset look moulded from white fondant?

...I've seen too many wedding cakes here.

Aren't you a little hot for a stormtrooper?

Sand People always dance single file to hide their strength and numbers. Only an Imperial Storm Trooper kick-line is so precise.

This is not the porn you're looking for.

Why, oh why do I find out about these things AFTER they happen.

Woe is me.

These are not the bananas you're looking for. Just look at them.

That's no moon ...

My god...

I'd give anything to be across the country for one of those shows. Why must I live on the east coast? WHY?!

Vader is my friend.

But Uncle Owen, I was going to the Tashi station to pick up some condoms!

Do want.

Black Cat Burlesque out of Boston has a nice Star Wars number or at least they did back in 2007 when I shared a stage with them

Yeah you and me both. I guess we're not cool enough to be in on the S00p3r sekr1t events calendar. Not many of events like these take place here in Europe either.

No Twi'lek?

I prefer my boobies jiggled with a minimum of cultural zingers, please.

Obligatory Robot Chicken:

Give a big Tashi's welcome to the "Power Converters"!

"you came in that thing? You're braver than I thought..."

Wait, so the Stormtrooper danced to Front 242's "Headhunter"? ("I'm looking for this man, to sell him to other men...Lock the target, bait the line, spread the net, then catch the man")

Seems like that should have been Boba Fett's song...Unless of course she got MC Chris' "Fett's Vette".

That just made my morning

No worries - they are repeating the show on March 13th. I went, it was fun though not too risque.

The C3PO was the best performer of the bunch, and stayed in her mask and in-character throughout her performance and after until the final curtain-call.

It's as if a million nerds suddenly cried out in ecstasy...

I am actually a burlesque performer with a routine to Fette's Vette, I love that routine.

What was that Onion article about the ironic porn purchase leading to a non-ironic ejaculation?

Not as sexy as this storm trooper http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5C_lzJpl-LQ

The Empire is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate for gender. You will, however, have to wear tight, sexy corset armor with your clunky helmet.
